Traditions are not only born in remembrance but being kept alive and celebrated - annually demonstrated by the people of Ellwangen at the Town Festival ("Heimattage") at the castle.

In July the motto is "Be a guest of the prince-provost", when roasted ex from the split is served in the tremendous arcaded castle courtyard. 

A festival with princely ambience and simple pleasures.
